Custom car my dad did in the 80s

It was white when he bought it (first two pictures).

Originally my grandfather wanted him to paint it black, it can be seen in black primer in the third pic with him leaning against it. Allegedly, my dad saw several black Trans Ams in the same day and decided to be unique, so he shot it GM code 26 Bright Blue Metallic, the color used on IROC Camaros. Dad painted it in my grandfather's body shop. He hired someone to do the bird and the pin striping.

In talking to dad's ex fiance from when he owned it, it used to be the talk of the Nathan's hot dog stand on Long Island, and when it was originally done people were stopping to stare at it!

Dad told me a story once that right after he painted it, he watched an elderly man in a Lincoln back right into the nose of it, boy was he pissed!

Dad's 67 Mustang from the 80s

The first two pics are as he bought it, the second two are at some point during his ownership. He raced it on Long Island in the 80s. 351 Windsor, automatic, 4:10 rear gear, nitrous. He was inspired by "Little Red," the Shelby experimental coupe. Sold around 09'.
