I started an application with CrossCountry Mortgage and their initial document request list is huge. They want everything but my firstborn child. My friend who used an online lender said he barely had to upload anything. Is this a red flag that they're going to be difficult to work with, or is this a good sign that they're just being thorough to avoid problems later?
