Have been cleaning up the garage
Found these "relics" from our early days of PowerPC at Motorola.
The processor (top left) was the original 68LC040 that came on my Centris 610 I bought while we were still developing the first of the PowerPC chips (advise I got from our GM at the time, Les C.: you buy a computer when you need a computer; there is always a better one coming up soon. It served me well throughout the years).
Talked to some of my coworkers in the High End Division who handled the 68K family and was able to upgrade the Centris to the full 68040 which included the floating point unit.
I believe the clock generator chip here was an upgrade I made overclocking it.
The key holder I think it was a 68040 processor.
Hard to convince myself to throw this stuff away....
