I had a transvaginal ultrasound scan a couple of weeks ago. I have the results but can’t get an appointment with a consultant to explain them to me for another couple of weeks, and I’m going a bit crazy with it.

I am 28 and have polycystic ovaries, which the sonographer explained to me - that was the only issue she flagged. The ultrasound report says 'uterus seen and appears normal', and then the measurements are:  L 5.55 cm W 3.42 cm H 2.54 cm Vol 25.244 cm3.

From Googling, these measurements seem really small but there’s mixed information online about how much of a problem this is. Can anyone recommend some reliable guidelines for me to read on this?

Apologies if it’s the wrong place to ask.

I am 28F and trying for a baby. I have PCOS and recently had an ultrasound scan as part of a female fertility test, and I’m trying to make sense of them ahead of an appointment with my consultant.

My results say 'uterus seen and appears normal', and then the measurements are:  L 5.55 cm W 3.42 cm H 2.54 cm Vol 25.244 cm3.

From some Googling, my uterus size appears small? Should I be concerned about this and any impact on my fertility? Any suggestions on questions to ask the consultant?
