Can someone recommend a good hotel (or even region) for 4 nights in November? My wife loves wildlife, esp birds, hiking and volcanoes. It’s our first time away from the kids and so I’d also like luxurious with good food and some privacy but that won’t break the bank.

I realize I’m asking a lot, as I’ve not even articulated which part of the country I’d like to visit (which speaks more to indecision than pure ignorance). I very much appreciate any suggestions. Reading the posts on this chat I’m struck by how generous this community is with its advice. Thanks!
