RBT Recertification Issues

So, I made a mistake of submitting not only the wrong document for my RBT recertification but I did mistakenly answer yes to an eligibility affidavit question, paid the fee and this is the email that I received:

Thank you for submitting application materials for your RBT Recertification application. Your recertification cannot be approved at this time.

 

Required Actions:

 

·       Eligibility Affidavit: You responded “yes” on one or more of the Eligibility Affidavit questions and you will need to complete one of the following actions depending on which option applies to you. If you have something you need to report, review the information on the Self Reporting page (for example, the Considerations for Self-Reporting document) and complete the Self-Reporting form. 

·       Previously Self-Reported: Please submit a case update using the Responding to Requests page and selecting Updates About a Notice of Alleged Violation/Open Case from the dropdown menu. In your submission, please indicate what application type you applied for. Please do not send this information to Contact Us as this may result in a delay in processing your application.

·       If you answered yes in error, please do not submit a Self-Report form and instead let us know via the Contact Us form. Your application will remain on hold until one of these steps are taken.

 

Please note, your application will remain on hold until you have completed the steps above. Be sure to check your email (including your junk folder) for correspondence and reply within the indicated timelines.

I went to the Contact Us form & basically told the BACB that I made a mistake & ubmitted the correct RBT competency assessment in their resubmission folder too.

I keep getting the same email above no matter what I say through the Contact Us form. My BCBA advised me to just wait since the BACB might need a real person to review my incorrect document and make corrections.

Now when I go to my RBT Recertification tab in my BACB profile I get this:

Your RBT certification application is currently under review and will remain "under review" until approved or expired. If not approved, you will receive a feedback email with instructions on how to properly resubmit documentation. Check your email regularly, including spam or junk folders, for updates. You may also check our Application Processing Updates web page for current application processing timelines.

So, do i just need to for a real person to review everything because they're taking awhile and there's no phone line.
