A nice, round number of a milestone!
Celebrating here with people who will understand. This morning I hit 200 on the scale - this is a number I have not ever seen on the scale. Presumably I was that weight at some point in my adolescence as I grew into my adult body. Since I started consistently weighing myself in my 30's, I've bounced around between like 230-250. My lowest recorded was 206, which I was really proud of - that was 3 months after giving birth, while I was breastfeeding and on a restricted diet to rule out milk and soy allergies. Obviously that didn't stick.
I started Zepbound in desperation because the scale was going up again after baby #2 and a heart failure diagnosis. I've had to re-arrange my budget to self-pay for it. I had to be patient while we scaled up my dose, because I didn't really start losing till I got to 10 mg. Once the weight started coming off, it has still happened slowly. But - whatever progress I make, Zepbound always lets me keep it. I never go backwards (aside from normal 1-2 lb fluctuations day-to-day, of course). And today...even after an indulgent Mother's Day weekend...I saw 2 zeroes on the scale!
This officially makes 35 lbs lost on Zepbound over 9 months. Slow and steady wins the race, and the prize is being healthy and happy for my family. The baby/toddler has just started calling me Mommy. :)
