I have a 2005 Nissan frontier. I've been on the fence about selling. I was told by a mechanic years ago that I had a pretty rare version of the truck. It's my second vehicle and I think I've put 3k miles on it in 4 years, so I was considering selling. It's a 2005 crew cab, with a 6 speed manual transmission, and 4.0 V6. Guy at the shop said he worked for Nissan for years, and this combination rarely happened. In most cases it would be a 4 cylinder with the 6 speed or no crew cab, etc. I purchased it used and it had 22in rims on it which I switched back to the original rims. Not a huge fan of big rims, plus it was destroying the suspension. It has right around 170k miles. I had the timing chain tensioners/guides replaced around 115k miles and at around 125k miles I replaced the clutch, the center support bearing, all wheel bearings, new shocks, struts and springs. I plan to do the rest of the suspension before I sell it, but looking for possible values and if it even is a semi rare-ish version. I see prices for similar trucks all over the place from $3k to $9k with similar miles. It does have 4 new kicker door speakers, and a touch screen head unit with backup camera. Interior needs to be cleaned, but not in bad shape at all for its year. Only pic I have at the moment is when it had the rims, and the color in the pic looks faded, but it's still pretty shiny when cleaned. It sits in a garage basically full time unless I need to take something to the dump or I'm working on my other car. Oh, and it has a bed cover, tow package, and all the bed accessories for straps and whatnot. Appreciate any information.
