I cut some 2 inches lengths of 1/4" square steel and added some twists in the forge.

Some wire and beads made a handful of pendants for practice.

One piece of metal into two different blades. I wanted to try different handle styles to see how they worked on the same blade style.

The one with the lanyard hole in picture 4 might be my best knife to date.

Last week I posted about a knife I was having trouble with.

At the advise from others in this community, I added about 10 hours of work, and re shaped the blade as well as adding some extras to the handle in the form of a guard and pummel.

happier with how this project has come together. ​

The handle scales matched up when I shaped them, and when I drilled the holes.

But then I went to set the pins, and the scales cracked, while my pins bent instead of peening.
