Looking to upgrade from my 55" CX

Title.

Got the CX in 2020 and it's been serving me well. It has dead pixels around the corners and suffers from top screen delamination, however it's not spreading further and isn't that noticeable unless I'm actually looking for it. I'd pass it down to my parents where it can exist as a bedroom TV for a couple more years.

Now onto the upgrade: I plan on either getting a 55" C5 (899€), 65" C5 (1199€) or a 55" G5 (1099€). I've felt content with the 55" CX before and don't know if going for a 65" would be worth it. I'm sitting or laying 2m away from the TV, it's in a light controlled / darker bedroom with no direct sunlight. I'd be mainly using it for the occasional show and mostly for HDR gaming at 4k with all bells and whistles.

I've heard the C5 is rather dim in game mode and the G5 pops much harder in HDR - how much of that is marketing fluff?

Do note I was already satisfied with the HDR capabilities of the CX and, especially during the night, have found it to be too bright at times already.

On another note I like the height adjustable stand of the G5 (wall mount is not an option) and it would fit my sound bar snuggly beneath the TV.

I've done some research and am leaning towards the 55" G5 but am open to suggestions of you folks - real world use opinions beat reviews in my book.

Thanks in advance and cheers 👌
