Need desperate help pc has no power
I know almost nothing about pcs- someone built this for my son a couple years ago. The problem: it will not power on. At the beginning of winter, it would not turn on so I read about “ejecting static energy” and that worked for months! When the weather started to get nicer, it would turn on normally. Now, it won’t turn on no matter what. I replaced the power cord, plugged it into a different outlet, and checked the actual button and it is fine. I don’t know if i should bring it in a repair shop, or if it’s something I can try to do myself. If it matters- once the pc is on, it has never shut off or had any issues staying on (when it was turning on).
