DS Homebrew Helper – a Windows app that walks you through 3hs.hacks.guide / dsi.cfw.guide step by step
Here's a small Windows app that guides you through homebrew/CFW setup for every DS-family console (DS, DS Lite, DSi/XL, 3DS/XL, 2DS, New 3DS/XL, New 2DS XL).
What it does
- You pick your console (and system version for 3DS/2DS) and your SD card, then go down a checklist.
- "This app" steps: it downloads the latest official releases from GitHub and puts them on your SD card.
- "You" steps: it tells you what to do on the console, and you mark them done.
- It saves your progress, and it keeps NAND/SD backups in %USERPROFILE%\DS_Homebrew_Helper\backups.
What it follows
- 3DS/2DS: 3ds.hacks.guide (MSET9 → boot9strap + Luma3DS → Finalizing Setup)
- DSi: dsi.cfw.guide (Memory Pit → NAND backup → TWiLight Menu++ → Unlaunch)
- DS/Lite: the ds-homebrew wiki flashcard guide
It only installs homebrew and never downloads games. It doesn't replace the guides, it just follows them, so read along with them.

Source (Python) is included. You can run python ds_homebrew_helper.py instead of the .exe. The exe is unsigned, so SmartScreen will warn you ("More info → Run anyway").
