This year I want to start keeping caterpillars and butterflies in an outdoor cage. Does anyone have any tips, suggestions or experience in what to look/watch out for?

Like it is better to build one or buy an old terrarium? Do different life stages need different style of cages? Etc etc? I take them into work and teach the kids about monarchs so that’s why I’m wanting to do a cage :)
