Simp and her kingdom, the rogue planets, Europa, and Ganymede were, after thinking about them again, pretty half-assed and unrealistic villains. Why?

One word: motivation and goal.

Simp and her kingdom have some of the dumbest goals I’ve ever heard. There’s literally nothing that makes her sympathetic or makes her actions acceptable. So what exactly is her goal? She wants to take all the planets and rule them? Attack the stars and take over the galaxy?

HAHAHA, YES. THAT’S LITERALLY HER GOAL.

Simp and the handful of planets she has with her — and even if we say she somehow had all the planets in the galaxy, their total mass would still be less than the mass of dust — want to rule a galaxy that is basically made up of stars, with some dust and gas, and then a tiny amount of everything else (planets). I’m only talking about normal matter here, obviously.

Okay, then what’s her motivation?

She wants to save the planets from the evil stars. Does she not realize that most planets literally form from the same material that forms stars? And does she not realize that a lot of planets will eventually get kicked out of their systems and become rogue planets anyway?

Now, what about Europa and Ganymede?

To be fair, they actually had a pretty good motivation: they’re always treated like children and never taken seriously.

But their goal?

The second dumbest goal I’ve ever heard.

They’re going to destroy life on Earth so that the planets will respect them, recognize what they’re capable of, and be afraid of them?

YES. THAT’S LITERALLY THEIR GOAL. HAHAHA.

I honestly don’t think you can get much dumber than that (except for Simp, the queen of stupidity).

Did they not think that they could simply get destroyed themselves, either by their own planets or by the Sun? Did they not think about the enormous consequences they would have to face? And they wouldn’t even achieve their ultimate goal — getting the planets to respect them.

Was there seriously not a single sane moon who could tell the others, “Hey, maybe this is a terrible idea”?

That’s why I actually think the planets had every right to treat them like children. Because, simply put, they were being idiots.

Planet X, on the other hand, has the best motivation AND the best goal out of all of them. And honestly, if I were in his position, I would’ve done the same thing.

And please, can we stop with this idealistic, childish worldview where everyone just forgives everyone and nobody holds a grudge?

Because real people don’t work like that. People can hold grudges for a LONG time, and sometimes they just don’t forget what happened to them.

Yes, absolutely. In my opinion, Álvaro completely ruined Theia's character. He gave her one of the dumbest, most ridiculous, and most disappointing deaths in the entire show. And why? Probably because she's a female character. (There's already the whole issue that Earth and Venus are apparently supposed to be female characters too, but I'll let that slide.)

The collision episode made it even worse. Álvaro had Theia basically sacrifice herself after a kiss with Proto-Earth because they both had the exact same ridiculous vision at the exact same time, showing that Earth and the Moon would eventually form and that life would appear billions of years later. It was one of the most absurd scenes I've ever seen.

The show went from being an entertaining series about talking planets with a bit of educational content to something that suddenly focused on visions and spiritual themes.

I used to be one of Theia's biggest fans, and I thought I was going to be heartbroken when I watched the collision episode. But after seeing it handled in such a silly and ridiculous way, I didn't feel anything at all. If anything, I was just glad that whole mess was finally over.

I honestly hope Álvaro regrets the way he handled Theia's story and doesn't make the same mistake again.

What do you think ? I wanted to make this post a year ago, and I've been thinking about it ever since. Now I finally decided to post it.

I honestly think it would've been better not to make this movie and take such a huge risk. Parts of the movie have already been leaked on TikTok. I know that if it succeeds, it'll be an amazing achievement for the creators and for us fans too, but it's still a big gamble.

In your opinion, does the movie have a strong chance of succeeding, or is its success pretty much guaranteed? I truly hope it becomes a massive success.

I think that because some theories suggest that around 80–90% of the Moon's material came from Theia, it would make more sense for the Moon to have a stronger connection to Theia than Earth does. That's why I always thought it would've been a really cool and logical idea if the Moon had turned out to be Theia's new form.

Another idea I like is that Theia never truly died. Instead, after the collision, she could have survived in a different way and eventually become the Moon, with a slightly different personality and a new identity. The Moon wouldn't remember everything about his past life, but deep down, he would still be Theia. That kind of reveal would've been emotional, meaningful, and would fit surprisingly well with the giant-impact theory. It would've also explained why the Moon exists in the first place while giving Theia's story a more satisfying conclusion instead of simply ending with her destruction.

I made some previous posts saying that I expected this arc to end in a lame, silly, and childish way, like the Moon Revolution arc. Turns out I was wrong, so I owe an apology.

The next episode is absolutely peak.

And no, this isn't a spoiler for anything.

1. In “Jupiter is back Part 3,” there was that conversation between Earth and Venus. At the end, Earth said he would find out the truth with or without Venus’ help, then walked away. Venus turned to him and said, “I think there’s still some of you in there, Theia.” I absolutely love that line. It’s really sad and emotional to me (maybe it sounds insignificant to you, but not to me).

2. In “The First Planets Part 1” — which I could honestly argue is the best episode in the arc since there weren’t many great ones — when the asteroid hit the planet and its face disappeared, and then the Sun completely lost it.

3. In the episode before Theia and Earth crash, when the Sun showed its power. The Sun had such an insane aura in that scene, spinning around and putting on an incredible display while separating Earth and Theia to protect them.

4. In “After the Crash Part 1,” the very first moment of the episode, when Venus rushed toward Theia trying to save her while the intense music started playing, the collision was almost unavoidable, and Mercury and Mars had to stop Venus. That scene was genuinely emotional, tragic, and intense. Honestly, it might be the best moment in the entire arc alongside the moment from “Jupiter is back Part 3.”

5. The “Formation of Earth and the Moon” episode was just good overall. I honestly don’t have any problems with that one.

That’s basically it. I do like Theia as a character, but Álvaro completely ruined her character and destroyed her arc.

Here’s how I think the rogue planets arc will end:

The rogue planets attack the Solar System again because of Earth, but someone warns the planets of the solar system in time, so they all return to the Solar System.

Then the Sun apologizes to the planets and promises not to act like a dictator anymore, and suddenly everything becomes about equality, justice, democracy, freedom, and all that stuff the fans keep asking for.

But the rogue planets still refuse to stop, so the Alpha Centauri stars step in because someone contacted them beforehand and told them what was happening — basically like what Pluto did during the Moon Revolution arc.

Then they start giving some speech about how there’s no real difference between planets and stars anyway, which honestly makes no sense, and how violence is never the answer and everyone should live in peace and harmony and all that cliché stuff.

The rogue planets listen, convince Simp to back down, and the whole conflict just ends right there.

Then everyone simply goes their separate ways.

The end. The kids are happy ( but I'm not )

1. Based on how the show usually works, I don’t think the rogue planets are actually going to stay evil. Most likely, by the end of the current arc — just like every childish SolarBalls ending — they’ll change their minds and become good characters and friends instead of enemies, just like what happened with the moons and Planet X.

2. As for the Sun, I don’t even see him as a villain at all.

Honestly, the only character who had the perfect potential for that role was Jupiter — not because I hate him, but because of his violent and destructive history during the early Solar System. You can literally look up the disasters Jupiter may have caused back then.

That’s why I was hoping Jupiter would turn into an actual villain, but that never happened.

I just hope the rogue planets — or any future new character — end up being genuinely evil instead of misunderstood villains who suddenly become good in the end
