Both of my baby boys are perfectly healthy and young. I won’t have to really worry about this for a while.

However, I want to be prepared.
When one of them dies, is it cruel to not get another?

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question. Should I get another before it happens? An endless cycle of ferrets?
As I said this isn’t urgent by any means but I wanna be prepared.
