Would other countries inform the U.S. when American are moving to their country?
I read this on Quora recently: When people are talking about moving to a different country (if they are expecting to never move back to the United States) they could try to rack up as much debt as possible in the United States before going away.
But I guess that might cause some problems, if the US government ever find out where they are. If so the government could demand taxes from those Americans who earn money while living in other countries. Plus demand the money back if they think someone did fraud or something, when they tried to rack up as much debt in the U.S. before leaving.
So would whatever country people are moving to, might report to the U.S. every time some Americans are moving there? Or could the U.S. find out when Americans are moving somewhere else, and never returning to the United States?
