The process of progressing in one’s career.

Hi there, I have a bit of background to share. I’m a law graduate and currently work as a senior analyst in a fintech company. My role involves legal compliance, specifically dealing with AML, BSA, privacy, and other related matters. I’ve been in this industry for over seven years now.

However, I’m not seeing much advancement in my current position. I’m wondering if obtaining a CRCM after completing ACAMS would help me progress in my career. I’m curious to know how you managed to get managerial or second-line defense roles, or even advisory positions.

Am I Ready to Take the ACAMS Exam?

I’ve been studying for a little over a month. During that time, I’ve watched all the training videos and read the study materials. For the past 30 days, I’ve consistently completed 50 practice questions daily, maintaining an average score of around 90%.

Last week, I took a full 120-question mock exam and scored 114/120 (95%). More recently, I’ve been working through ExamTopics questions and scored 90/100 today.

Based on these results, do you think I’m ready to sit for the ACAMS exam, or should I spend more time reviewing before scheduling the test?
