Question about process

Hello all -

I have a question regarding a current case I am going through. Long story short, I was rear ended by someone while I was stopped trying to turn into a business. Fast forward 2.5 years ago, I needed surgery. The defending insurance company wouldn’t disclose limits (due to state law) and stopped at a fairly small number prior to us filing suit. I was just notified that the defending driver hired their own personal attorney because “they didn’t like the way their insurance company was handling the case”. Is this typical? I tried to do some searching on here but came up empty handed which makes me wonder why one would do this? Their limits are not an issue ($5m umbrella and our demand is nowhere near that… also know we won’t get our demand but it’s just a starting point).

Aluminum racks

Has anyone tried or tested to use the aluminum racks, like Craigco, for their consumer shells (1.91”)? I have about 120 mortar tubes in wood racks I’ve built but the aluminum racks seem easier to store and setup. However I wasn’t sure if they are built to sustain that force, although I’m not sure if there is that significant of a difference between a 60mm single shot and a 1.91 shell.
