I Built a Simple Fix for a Problem Most People Don’t Realize They Have

I’ve spent the last several months developing a simple physical product that solves a frustrating household problem.

I’m a Canadian inventor working on a patent-pending consumer plumbing product called PlungeAide.

I’m currently at the point of moving from a handmade working prototype into professional engineering and manufacturing development.

It has been a much bigger journey than I expected — product testing, patent filing, engineering quotes, figuring out manufacturing, and now trying to raise the capital needed for the next stage.

I’m curious to hear from other people who have taken a physical product from a homemade prototype toward manufacturing. What ended up being the hardest part for you?
