Stiff ankles — dorsiflexion or just compensating?
Working on ankle mobility lately, mostly with barefoot incline holds like this.
Grip tape is pretty rough barefoot, so I’m using a silicone surface here just to make the hold tolerable.
Does this position look like real ankle dorsiflexion, or am I probably dumping into the midfoot? Should I be doing more active foot/ankle work instead of just hanging out here?
