Hi - newly diagnosed and just started metformin er 500mg this week. Doctor suspects insulin resistance. Have gained 30lbs in the last year and have not been able to get it off despite calorie deficit and exercise consistently for months.

Just got blood work results back and my testosterone and insulin levels are normal. However, my LS:FSH ratio is 2:1. Am I not insulin resistant? What’s going on?

Like the title says - just took the first one last night at dinner and I feel awful. I’m also taking myoinositol. I had diahrea since 5am and naseaua all day plus brain fog and exhaustion. Is this normal? One dose?!?!
