Do Niantic Staff Even Read Appeal Notes?
I'm extremely frustrated by my most recent interaction with the Niantic Appeals Team. I had submitted a mural painted on a recreation trail, which was initially rejected by the reviewers as being non-permanent. Okay, fine, it's been three years since it was originally placed and the paint has faded a bit; not too unreasonable for reviewers to assume it is a chalk drawing. I submit my appeal to confirm that it is a permanent, painted mural and include a link to a page on the city's website about the mural, which included a photo, map pin, and the materials used (outdoor paint).
Well, Niantic just got back to me this morning and rejected it as a "non-permanent chalk drawing". They didn't even look at the link I gave them! I live over 2000 miles from the POI, so I can't just resubmit it.
