4k non-OLED is an option or just stupid decision in 2026?
I’m looking to upgrade to a 4K monitor for a split mix of gaming and video editing, with a hard budget of 450€. Burn-in anxiety and budget point me toward non-OLED panels. I play SP games in 1080p on 9070xt and I would hate to be forced to change monitor in the next 4-6 years.
Here is what I have shortlisted after reading some of your posts:
- Gigabyte M27UP: Looks great on paper with the IPS panel and the new 4K 160Hz / FHD 320Hz dual-mode feature.
- Samsung Odyssey G70D: Seems like a very solid 144Hz IPS all-rounder.
- Samsung Odyssey Neo G7: Both odyssey monitor are heavily discounted where I live
What is your take guys? Is it stupid to get IPS/mini-LED monitor now?
What is our communities go to non-OLED 4k monitor? If I can get it it white/silver and 32" even better.
