Question on Frost FB01 and cards getting buffed.
Played locals this week. I played the new Spirit Bomb Goku deck, and my opponent pulled out FB01 Beerus.
Something I wanted to ask about. He played this Frost card, which says while he’s on the field, battle cards 20,000 or less power can’t attack.
Mostly straightforward and it works against a lot of the spirit bomb deck. But I’m curious about how it works against the new Goku promo, or other cards that get a power boost on play in certain conditions.
Usually these days they specify power versus “original power” to make it clear if buffing the card would circumvent it or not, but Frost’s card doesn’t really make that clear.
So I’m attaching the new Goku promo as an example. I had 5 ki on board, since this Goku would get another 20k and become 30k total, does that mean he escapes the effect and can attack?
TLDR: Does FB01 Frosts’ power refer to only a battle card’s original power, or can you get around that by buffing a card up?
