Truly important question: How are we dealing with pet hair on the brace??

I'm almost 4 weeks post op (ACL + meniscus) and still in the full leg brace for walking and sleeping, and will likely have to continue wearing it for another couple weeks at least. But... I go back to work next week, and the straps on my brace are ENCRUSTED in pet hair. I have a white cat and a very light tan dog. Has anyone found a great way to remove hair before leaving in the morning? A lint roller barely makes a dent. There's no point in anything that takes hours or is a one-time thing, because as soon as I get home it will just get hairy again. Has anyone solved this issue?

I totally forgot to record the tv broadcast of the BSR, which I really wanted to watch from my couch (I'm currently stuck here after knee surgery). But I forgot - does anyone know if there's a way to watch a replay?

I've been really lucky that my pain has been less than expected and my sleep has been better than expected, though of course since I'm NWB, getting around is an absolute nightmare. But I'm managing.

Of course I worry that every little twinge and pain in my knee means there's a problem and the surgery was all for nothing. Of course I worry that I'm doing my PT exercises too much/not enough/not correctly, that I'll never get full flexion or full extension back (extension was my nemesis pre-surgery), I worry that if I do progress enough to eventually start jogging that I'll undo everything and be back to the start. Let alone anything more strenuous.

But today, my biggest problem isn't my knee, which feels decent, but LITERALLY EVERY MUSCLE IN THAT LEG! My hip and hip flexor are sore. My quads are sore (mostly from PT). My hammies are sore. And worst by far, as of last night my calf muscle has decided it has HAD IT (I tend to tense it up every time I walk around on crutches) and it is SUPER sore and painful. (I have been keeping an eye out for discoloration, warmth, or other signs of DVT). Ice and heat and massage do help, but... Yikes? I need a full body massage and several yoga classes, but of course none of that is happening soon...

Thanks for letting me vent!
