Jetsetter Mystery Pack
So I took a shot at the mystery pack that Alpaka has been advertising and Mine finally arrived. As the title suggests, I got the Jetsetter tier which was $149.00 USD and it took about a week to arrive at my doorstep.
The value of my items are advertised to be over $200 and here's what I ended up getting:
1x Metro Sling Max in Olive Green X-Pac X42 valued at $89.00 USD
1x Bravo X Sling V2 in Army Green Axogrid 300D valued at $119.00 USD
That brings my total overall value of items to:
$208.00 USD
Having only ever bought one thing from Alpaka in the past, I expected to get stuff I didn't have already. I wanted the Bravo Sling, so it's cool I was able to pull something I wanted. The Metro sling while being something I never had before, is something I might just regift since it's too small for me.
Thoughts and opinions:
I understand I get what I get, but it's honestly a bit stingy of Alpaka to only choose products with values adding up juuust over that advertised value. It would have been nice to get like a stash pouch or maglockz keychain. Especially since all the advertised openings showed people getting at least 3 items. Hopefully others have better experiences and it's just I wasn't as lucky as others probably will. Just won't know unless those that do post their hits. Until then as others have said, it's only really a small discount on items that aren't currently on any discount or sale. I saved about $58 in the end and whatever extra tax I may have been on the hook for had I bought these a la carte. So if that's enough value for you, then more power to you in also taking the risk.
