[CAN-ON] Former Employer HR Asking For A Phone Call
I was downsized by a former employer two years ago. Went through legal arbitration, signed paperwork in 2024, haven't heard a peep since.
A week ago, someone from their HR team called and left a voicemail regarding an administrative issue. They requested a call back, but their office hours are during my working hours, and frankly I'm not inclined to spend my lunch trying to talk to them.
They're claiming they can't share anything via email for security reasons. I'm wondering what they could possibly have to talk to me about, and if there are any real justifications as to why this meeting couldn't be an email.
Any thoughts? Mostly deciding if it's worth investing literally any energy into.
