Here are a few more photos from that trip back in late April / early May 2007. You can see the beautiful native Japanese Iwana (char) with their distinct yellowish bellies, the pristine Genryu (headwaters) environment, and my trusty fixed-line stream rod. Fishing in these tight, overgrown streams with a long rod is a truly unique Japanese experience.
