Caught this lovely chub (Squalius cephalus) while trying to learn the basics of casting. Since I couldn't see any rising fish, I tied on a wet fly (no idea what it is, came from my grandfather's fly box) underneath an indicator and just dead drifted it. My fishing has mostly been spin fishing for pike so it's a completely new discipline, but I'm enjoying it!
