First-person novel about a woman who kills several men over her lifetime and never gets caught. As a girl, she kills the first man by pushing him into a well after he comes onto her. Her parents are emotionally distant writers or artists. The man she pushes into the well was an artist living in her parent‘s spare house. The narrator feels indifferent about her crimes.
