Looking to see if others who are anemic have their a1c go high but with normal blood sugar/glucose. Ive been diabetic/prediabetic since 2020. My average NONfasting glucose is less than 120. Even when I was pregnant in 2022, my glucose was always less than 120. Could my a1c be high (btwn 5.7 to 6.5) due to my anemia. Ive been anemic since I was a preteen (35) without cause. Ive been taking my iron, vit c, vit d, vit b due to deficiency.
