Thinking about skin study program in Seoul, Korea

Sorry in advance this is long.

I just graduated esthetician school and currently taking my boards. I am very passionate about pursuing a career in the medical aesthetics industry, ideally working alongside a plastic surgeon, dermatologist, or within a med spa environment. I would truly appreciate any advice, insight, or recommendations you may be willing to share regarding ways to strengthen my resume and better position myself within the industry.

Over the next few months, I plan to continue building my experience and certifications, including:

Attending the IBS & IECSC Beauty Convention in Las Vegas (June 26–29)
Phlebotomy Certification (July)
Dermaplaning & Microneedling
Advanced Chemical Peels & Microdermabrasion
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard
American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Certification

I understand the medical aesthetics field can be highly competitive, and I want to make sure I am taking the right steps early in my career.

Secondly, I'm seriously considering… I've been looking into attending a 10-day Advanced Korean Skincare (Medical Aesthetician Diploma) program in Seoul, South Korea, this September.

AMO aesthetics academy

Since South Korea is widely recognized as a global leader in aesthetics and skincare, I feel this could be a unique learning experience and a great opportunity to gain exposure to industry-leading techniques before officially entering the field. While I understand it may primarily serve as a resume booster, I believe the education, cultural experience, and networking opportunities could be incredibly valuable.

The program runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM  and a full-time interpreter is provided. I would be in Korea for approximately three weeks. During that time, my mother, fiancé, and one of my close friends would each be visiting at different points, so it would also allow me to experience the country outside of the classroom.

One concern I have is that I haven't been able to connect with any alumni association from the program, and I'm having difficulty finding independent reviews or firsthand experiences. Do you think a program like this would be worthwhile from a professional standpoint? Have you heard of this kind or program before?
