We’re a family of 3 including a toddler traveling from Newark to Colorado this June. Here’s our itinerary! Anything recommended to add or remove?
Thu — fly EWR → DEN late night → Denver airport hotel
Fri — Denver → Parker (visit friends) → Estes Park hotel. Evening walk at Lake Estes
Sat — RMNP. Sprague Lake sunrise 5AM → Alluvial Fan → Bear Lake → Nymph → Dream Lake. Evening downtown Estes Park
Sun — Trail Ridge Road → Alpine Visitor Center 12,183ft → back to Estes Park
Mon — Check out Estes Park → Vail → drive to Snowmass/Basalt hotel
Tue — Maroon Bells 7AM shuttle → drive to Denver → Red Rocks golden hour sunset
Wed — Fly home DEN → EWR. Optional Garden of the Gods if flight is 4PM+
