Blind Playthrough - Day 10 Victory?
I am a huge fan of metroidbrainias and my friends have been urging me to try Blue Prince. I finally picked up the game and went in completely blind last week. I have avoided spoilers completely and as such I haven't the slightest idea of whether what just happened is a cool feat or entirely average.
I managed to have a godlike Day 10 run and beat the game(?) by reaching room 46. Day 10 was my first time reaching the antechamber, first time using the pump (I read the pump manual from the library this run too), first time underground. I made it without ever setting foot in the basement since I couldn't get a path to my foundation! I still don't even know what is in the basement. I kept waiting for the next shoe to drop of hitting a point where I would become hard stuck but everything just played out perfectly. The MVP was definitely the Tomb which I drafted for the first time as well! The stars aligned with drafting the pump room right next to my entrance way, so I had enough steps to traverse back and forth to the tomb.
I have 17 hours of playtime (maybe 1-2 from AFKing since there is no way to save in the middle of a run afaik). This specific run went on for about 3-4 hours and I stayed up all night. I'm too amped to sleep so I figured I would write this post.
Some additional context, I unlocked the orchard on day 2, and the west path on day 7.
This game is amazing, I can't wait to keep exploring more and more!
TLDR: Credits rolled on Day 10, is this worth bragging about to my buddies?
