How do I demonstrate non-immigrant intent if the degree doesn't exist in (and won't easily transfer to) my home country?

I want to get a Clinical Psychology PhD in the U.S. . I have prepared for this for the past decade (5% admission chance, and last year I applied for the first time and made it on a waitlist). If I make it in this year, I would obviously have to attend an F-1 Visa interview.

A Clinical Psychology PhD doesn't exist in Europe. It's only a Master's degree there, not a scientist-practitioner degree like in North America.

I hope to get a Clinical Psychology PhD in the U.S. because I don't want to compromise on research and want a balance between research and clinical work. My other reason is that I hope to live permanently in North America after this degree (I once lived in Canada for six years and my undegrad is from there). I won't mention this last part about not returning to my homecountry of course.

How do you show non-immigrant intent if the U.S. degree doesn't exist in your homecountry? Do you have any ideas? How did you do this with U.S. degrees where the educational structure of the same field was different in your homecountry?

Thank you
