Paired the UBD with a G5 PTZ on the porch where there are no data drops and it worked out surprisingly well. Used dielectric grease to help prevent from water intrusion and corrosion, some silicon sealant for added benefit and then electrical tape on top. Has been running with no issues in the Florida humidity no issues.

Edit: This is a camera for a 2nd Floor Apartment with no public access recording a non critical view … a forest and my cat on a screened in porch. You would either have to have access to my house or get a ladder and tear through a screen so given the non criticality of it I’m ok with how “insecure” it is

In all fairness I just got back from a long day of travel and was not thinking. Was laughing about this. This pic was after I wiggled it out a bit.

Don’t worry I was able to get it out with a sowing needle on one end and the SIM card removal pinhole key on the other end but man was i disappointed in myself 😂
