Calling all people with multiples
Im considering getting a second Siberian. Currently have an 11month old Male (Koda, pictured). He’s such a good cat, but I feel so bad because I don’t want him to be lonely.
I initially got him, so my 10 year old morkie could have a friend, but did not have time to train a new puppy. But my dog ended up passing away 3 months after I got Koda. I work from home so I’m always here, but I can’t really play with him while working so he’s always just sitting on my desk or on my chair with me.
He has a bunch of toys, especially interactive ones that keep him busy but he’s so attached to me it’s like he doesn’t want to play with them until I can be there to play with him which is usually just the weekends for the most part, since I’m also in school full time.
So I’m thinking of going to the breeder I got him from and getting another one so he has a friend to play with. What I don’t want is to get another one and they don’t like each other and they both end up with an attachment to me, so I have two cats that refuse to be away from me 🤣
So my questions are:
If you have multiples that are different ages, do they get along?
Do they mostly play with each other or are they both just Velcro cats obsessed with you?
If you have two males? Do they fight to establish dominance?
Is it better to have one and one?
Can you tell me any pros or cons in your opinion about having two?
