Another Interview After Several Recent Rejections. Confidence at an all time Low
I have been applying for jobs for about a half a year now. In the past six months I have had two interviews, one in which I did move onto a second round and then was rejected, the other most recent one I didn't even get past the initial interview. I don't even know how many applications I have submitted with no response. It is fair to say my self esteem and confidence has never been lower when it comes to interviewing.
Tomorrow, I'm traveling two hours into the city near me to have an initial interview and I'm going through the motions of confidence, doubt, and anxiety. How do I gather confidence after the past recent rejections to not sike myself out? I'm spending all day preparing questions, possible situational scenario questions, and comparing my experience to the responsibility of the position.
I have never had such a hard time in the job hunt and this experience has been really demoralizing for me.
