Thinking of selling my Asus ROG Strix G16- G614PM, 2025 model, 32gb ram 1tb SSD, AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX, 5060 laptop in New Zealand.
Im thinking of selling it and upgrading to a better gpu and SSD capacity, hopefully finding a 32gb ram model. I love Asus, so I'll keep it within Asus itself.
A bit about the laptop condition-
Proud to say its in the best condition a laptop could be. Looks good as new, and I still get compliments on it. Works like a beast, dont know why I want an even more ferocious beast haha. I have no idea on the resale value of it though, but I did buy it last year in July 2025.
Regarding the history of maintenance and repairs, after 2 months of purchase, I had to replace the entire motherboard since the integrated graphics card was faulty (covered under warranty, so no money lost). I've also got a total extended international warranty of 3 years on it. After that, not a single issue came up with the device. The additional 16bg ram stick was bought aftermarket, and the device has never been opened up by me to clean, I always hand it to the dedicated Asus service centres.
I kinda dont want to sell it since it was my first personal purchase, and my first laptop too. But if its going for a nice price, I can upgrade it to a better one. I assumed since Ram prices are skyrocket currently, I could fetch a good enough price to change my mind on keeping it.
What do y'all think would be an acceptable price for me to label it as? Not selling, atleast for now, just need an educated guess for future reference.
Thanks.
