What large kind gesture from a total stranger that you still remember years later?

Not just helping out with directions or carry something heavy down/up the stairs. Really something that a stranger went to greater lenght to help and support you.

For me, I grew up in montreal and winter storms can fully burry your carunder the snow. Anyone who has lived those knows how tedious it is to chovel and get your car out. It was at least -25C outside and i got helped out from a guy passing in his car who saw me struggle with my car. He parked nearby, brought a large shovel and some woodplanks to help the car get some grip and not to ski on the snow.

Took at least 20min to get it out.
