Profile Review - 25M
Hi all, I am thinking through whether it makes sense for me to grind out the GMAT but wanted to get a sense on my odds for HSW given the rest of my profile. If I don’t have a great shot it’s not really worth the prep imo. I know WSO probably has a perspective on this given my finance background but wanted to ask here too.
Education: State school with a 3.6 GPA in Finance (weighed down by some courses in bio and chem when I was premed)
Work experience: 2 years in IB at a well-known MM firm in the industry (like William Blair) and about to hit my one year mark at a generalist NYC PE shop with about ~$5B AUM.
Other relevant details: I think I could have some potentially unique and differentiated connections / references from my work experience without being too specific to one of HSW.
