Solved a common problem for Data Engineer aspirants

One thing I've noticed is that learning Data Engineering concepts and actually practicing them consistently are two different challenges.

There are plenty of resources available, but it's not always easy to find a structured path that combines learning, hands-on practice, and interview preparation.

I started working on a platform called LakeBench to bring these things together. It includes SQL, Python, and PySpark practice, structured learning tracks, and a 45-day Data Engineer roadmap.

I'm still improving it and adding more things as I go. I'd be interested to hear from people here: What do you think is missing from the current Data Engineering learning resources, especially for beginners preparing for their first job?

I built a browser-based learning platform for Data Engineers

**Disclosure:** I’m the creator of LakeBench, so this is a self-promotion post.

I’m a Data Engineer, and I recently built **LakeBench** .. a learning and practice platform focused on Data Engineering.

The idea was to bring the common things people need to learn and practice into one browser-based platform instead of having everything scattered across different resources.

It currently includes:

180+ lessons
SQL, Python, PySpark & Pandas
245 practice problems
45-Day Study Plan
Mock Interviews
AI Mentor Hints

Browser-based practice without setting up a cluster
The goal is to keep the learning experience practical and focused on actually writing code and working through Data Engineering concepts.
