Introduction

NEW FACTION: Pirates and Scavengers
If you don't want to protect goods anymore, but steal it to make it all yours, this is the season for you! Join the frontier pirates and scavengers, who don't involve themselves with the political sides of war, but skim aside the battlefield, waiting to strike and steal everything that remains. Head of this faction is what his friends call him The Captain. His enemies call him Scab, mostly because of all the wounds in his face.

NEW MAP: Wasteland
Home to many frontier pirates is the planet Vesper, within The Frontier. Due to the planet not being recorded in official maps, a large IMS carrier crashed the planet once. This drew the attention to many pirates and scavengers, which eventually led them to taking over the planet to call it their home. This map is located on a desert, filled with many wrecks. The sand floors slow you down, so make sure you stay airborne as much as possible. (The sand does not affect slidehopping)

The new map isn't the only one that's pirate themed anymore! Other maps in the game have changed visually to match the theme for this season too.

NEW WEAPONS:
- SHOTGUN: Scrapper (pilot weapon)
A makeshift shotgun made for close quarters fights. Doesn't shoot far and has a very wide spread, but packs a devastating punch. You can shoot four shots before reloading, and you reload by putting scrap in the gun. This makes sure you can shoot anywhere, even if you don't have specific ammo. The weapon does feels like it's going to explode any second though...

- MISCELLANEOUS: Cannon (pilot weapon)
You read it right, pilots. A cannon. A full-fledged, old fashioned pirate cannon. One shot, one kill. Don't ask where we found it. Just have fun. (Very loud)

- TITAN PRIMARY: Harpoon (titan weapon)
Equip your titan with a harpoon that can either reposition yourself, or pierce an enemy titan. When an enemy titan pierced by your harpoon, they only have limited movement options, relative to you. They can't walk further than 10 (titan)steps from your titan. If you move sideways, the harpoon moves too, and slightly damages the enemy. On release, fires a explosion at the barrel, dealing much close-range damage. The harpoon can one-shot pilots, but is not very accurate. Also doesn't shoot further than 10 steps. Has enough strength to barely lift an ogre chassis. How lighter the chassis, the easier it is to maneuver around.

SALE
To start the update strong, we put all items, except the new ones, on sale. Weapons are now only half the price, and other non-cosmetics now cost one third amount of the original price. The cosmetics will vary per item, but the discounts will be around -20% to -50%.

Since all items cost in-game currency and we want to give every new player a fun start, we also decided to make new players start with 2000 credits (enough to buy two simple weapons or one complex weapon) for gameplay-items only. To compensate for all of you pilots, who aren't new players, we give to you 1000 credits.

QUALITY OF LIFE
The multiplayer-exclusive tutorials have gotten a full rework. It should give new pilots more agility with the basic and advanced gameplay, mostly on the movement side. We also added two more gauntlets, making the total six! (That's at least more than three!)

There were some bugs involving the ADS of the kunai and the orbital laser, but those are fixed now, much like many other minor bugs. Thank you, to all the pilots who spotted and reported these bugs to us!
