So currently Bournemouth are on 55 pts with 2 games to go and Liverpool on 59 with 1 game to go, if Bournemouth ties their next match and wins one they’ll on 59 and if Liverpool loses the last they stuck on 59. Now here’s the tricky part about tiebreakers 1. The team with the highest GD will be placed higher
If can’t be separated by GD, highest GF
If can’t be separated GF, head-to-head pts, if pts don’t separate most away goal
And if all of the above not able to separate, we have a playoff match
And looking at the current GD GF it’s very likely it’ll go to head-to-head but but they have each won 3 pts against each other so it’ll go down to away goal, oh but wait! They both have scored 2 away goals against each other!!!!!!!!!! And so we will have a playoff, isn’t that cool?
