Help Looking For Entry Environmental Jobs in NYC?

I am posting on behalf of someone I know who has been job searching for about a year, with no luck. The person in question graduated with a bachelor's in environmental science and is looking to get their foot in the door. Practically zero experience outside of college internships. No driver's license. They are currently volunteering to pass the time and have even applied to SYEP and NYC POP program (haven't heard back yet). May I ask for some advice/direction they can be pointed towards, such as the type of careers they should look into, any available summer internships, job fairs focusing on environmental careers, etc.? They prefer work similar to horiculture than, say, maintenance work such as HVAC Technicians. Thank you for your time.
