I dont know what to do anymore :(

I've been using tret 0.025% cream formula nightly since mid August (9 months), my skin has definitely improved from what i started at, but I'm still having a new break out almost every day, and I keep getting so many little blackheads on my forehead. I also seem to get the worst of the pimples along my hairline, even though I bring the tret up to there to help prevent them. The only time my skin has started clearing up was on my period, and immediately breaks out again after it. Do I increase to 0.05% or switch to gel, or both? I was also looking into Azelaic acid, and started using the 10% from The Ordinary, seems to not be doing much, should I get that prescribed at a higher dose too? Or at this point should I look into an endocrinologist because why is my skin only clear on my period? Also small context, my skin used to be very clear, but last summer it decided to explode in acne everywhere, so I've come a long way from that, still have no idea what the cause was.

Food tips and tricks?

I'm pre-t, 23, 5'6 and 113 pounds. I know I'm underweight and am trying to gain both weight and muscle to help with dysphoria and general health. I have a pretty hard time getting up to my calorie goal of 2000, and usually only get 1400-1800cal a day. I'm also currently going through invisalign treatment, so I can really only eat 3 times a day. Any tips to get more protein and carbs in when I'm eating?

I'd love suggestions on stuff I can buy at a grocery store to help me meet my calorie goal, and get more protein in at the same time! I'm not that good of a cook as well haha
