I need help with making an eva foam pattern for my cardboard cosplay head
So i need help with my cosplay
Basically i made a head out of cardboard which also has functioning lights and is very stable and looks really good
But now im trying to wrap my head around the patterning for the actualy head shell
Basically i want to add another layer ontop of the cardboard that is of 4mm eva foam
So that i have a base for coloring and the cardboard is protected
Im just too confused on how exactly im supposed to create a pattern
I tried many times to cover a half of the bottom jaw piece but either the piece gets too "small" (even tho i used paper/tape etc to trace then cut eva foam) after applying on the cardboard or it gets stiff even though i use a heatdryer and cut in the foam
Could someone give me some tips on where im getting stuck or how i can make the eva more flexible/wrap around the corners?
Im on vacation right now so i cant send any images but i wanted to think about my next steps as this is taking me lots of time and ressources
