I chose "reveal the truth" (barter 35) at our first meeting, didn't know it'd lead to Dean distrust, because I thought it was polite enough and hurted nobody's ego.

And when I faced him later, the only option is to kill him directly, speech 75 check, and asked him about holotape. I tried the holotapes and it leads me to "that's all I need to now" and I'm forced to kill him. I tried the speech check and it just the same. Can I not to kill him other than reloading the whole Dead Money?

Started the quest and heading to Hidden Valley. First, I don't like how bossy BoS is by stripping me, making me wear bomb collar, and order me to deal with stranger on their land. Then, when deal with Dobson, I found there's two path: convince him to leave and progress "still in the dark" or to tell him the truth and fail the "still in the dark"

I wonder what's the (+) and (-) if I miss this "still in the dark" quest
