I am 18 and living with a family friend right now, so money isn't a concern yet. I'm probably overthinking this but I'd love some opinions and encouragement from others, I just want to be sure that I hear back from someone soon. I tried a few online applications but wasn't hearing back from anyone so I whipped up this resume and figured I'd go to some shops and hand out copies, as recommended by my friend. I'm hoping for a location like Hot Topic or Spencer's but plan on trying other generic clothing or craft stores if I don't hear back from them. If I still don't get a response I'll probably just start volunteering somewhere for experience, but I'd prefer to get work experience instead.
