I bought this house a few years ago and am finally tired enough of this to do something. Problem is, I don't know what would be best. The baseboards in my house are all wood and almost all of them are either chipped, overpainted, or the finish is not the best. I would just replace them if they were just standard white/painted, but with them being wood and matching the floors/stairs I don't know what would be the best approach. Any advice would be welcome!

Also complicating things is this wooden arch, room divider thing that's super rough, and also matches the other wood. I'd live to be able to do something about both of them.
